Meet your podcast host: Therese

As a health coach, Therese empowers you to take charge of your health by facilitating your why, dig deeper into what’s holding you back and supports you to create sustainable change so you can be your healthiest, most fulfilling version of yourself.

As a pharmacist, she can help you navigate the medical system and stay the course with your treatment if you have a serious or chronic illness.

She has a special interest in reversing and preventing chronic disease through diet, lifestyle and nutrition. Her own health journey has opened her eyes to the strengths and weakness of mainstream as well as alternative therapies.

Her philosophy is to treat the root cause of the condition, utilising all therapies.

What is this podcast about?

Do you find it challenging to keep up to date with new information that could transform your health or your clients?

The pace with medicine, technology and health is so fast-paced, today’s news could be tomorrow’s fish and chips paper?

But here’s the kicker, information that you trust may have it’s own agenda or conflicts of interest. Would you agree that we should make available useful information that real people have used that works?

Here’s the deal: with The Enlightened Pharmacist podcast was developed to spread the word about all sides of the coin: whether mainstream/alternative therapies.

Here you won’t find anecdotes dressed up as facts. I will never tell you what to do. You will find balanced information where you are empowered to make the best decisions based on your individual circumstances.

So now that you’re armed with the information, how do you make the best decision?

Here are my tips on how to make best decisions.

Top 3 questions to ask when making a decision

For example, I have been teaching health professionals how to evaluate medical information for over 20 years. Let me explain, it all boils down to 3 questions

  1. Where is the information coming from?
  2. What are the benefits and what are the trade-offs?
  3. What decision will best serve my health goal?
